Ken took his first yoga class in 1985 and established a more disciplined personal yoga practice in 1999. He obtained his 200 hour Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) classification in 2007 from Lex Gillian. Ken has a 30+ year background in triathlons and is a past board member of the Houston Racing Triathlon Club. For years, yoga was something he practiced in support of his passion for triathlons and now he enjoys sharing the rewards of a good yoga practice with his students. Ken is currently teaching 7 yoga classes per week through the Sugar Land Parks and Recreation Leisure Learning Program and two free yoga classes as a volunteer on Thursdays at the Sugar Land Senior Center. His goal is to share the benefits of a regular yoga practice so each student has the opportunity to enjoy the same rewards yoga has brought into his life.
