WHY IS KEN (The Yoga Guy) OFFERING THIS?
At a June 2023 morning yoga class, a student brought up that she was having issues with her shoulders. Since it was a small class, Ken asked if they would be okay with incorporating some weight training over the next hour. The class ended up being 20 minutes of yoga and 40 minutes of weight training focused on the shoulder exercises that he had recently used for repairing his injured shoulder. The students all enjoyed the workout and asked about the possibility of it becoming a regular option. Ken thought it was a great idea because while yoga is an amazing way to keep the body in good health, he a firm believer that strength training is also extremely important and beneficial.
